Manager

International Office

The Manager International Office is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations and activities of the International Office under the direction of Director International. The role requires a deep understanding of global engagement strategies, strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to foster bilateral and multilateral international partnerships and collaborations, including through digital partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Director International in implementing the strategic deliverables of internationalization in alignment with faculties strategic plans.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance the university’s global reputation, visibility, and competitiveness. Develop innovative approachesto enhance the university’s international profile.
  • Work with existing and identify new potential international partners, including universities, research institutions, and organizations, and establish collaborative relationships to promote faculty and student engagement (including virtual) mobility, joint research projects, and academic exchange programs.
  • Manage active exchange programs’ admissions processing for outgoing and incoming students.
  • Ensure completion of all necessary documentation, communication, and coordination with all relevant internal and external departments, strictly following the admissions schedule of partner universities.
  • Work with Admissions and Communications office in attracting and recruiting international students to our university. This involves developing and implementing strategies to effectively reach out to prospective students across different regions.
  • Prepare operational and strategic reports highlighting the performance and achievements of the International Office.
  • Liaise with internal administrative and academic departments to facilitate international events/workshops, host international students/scholars and international delegate visits to UCP.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to facilitate the integration of international students and support services for incoming and outgoing students and faculty. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of student/faculty mobility programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop the activities and events of International Office and International student Association that will be hosted throughout the year.
  • Maintain and update the International Office website through communications department, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, and engaging.
  • Manage the budget of UCP International Office and liaise with relevant internal departments/external vendors for quotations, invoices, payments etc.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Masters Degree preferably from a foreign university or HEC recognized University/Institute.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with confident and pleasing personality.
  • 4 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in a higher education setting. Preference will be given to those candidates having experience of working in international offices of university.
