Microbiology

This project, funded by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan under the National Research Program for Universities, aims to develop and scientifically validate advanced nano-herbal formulations with enhanced therapeutic efficacy. The study focuses on promoting safe, rapid, and cost-effective wound healing through the integration of phytochemicals into optimized nanocarrier systems, along with preclinical evaluation of their antimicrobial and tissue-regenerative potential

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct extraction, preparation and formulation development.
  • Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks, experimental records, and digital data in compliance with project and Higher Education Commission of Pakistan guidelines.
  • Contribute to preparation of progress reports, final reports, research articles, and conference presentations.
  • Coordinate with research team members, collaborators, and students to ensure timely execution of project milestones.
  • Assist in documentation related to regulatory approvals, ethical clearances, and potential commercialization/technology transfer activities

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Experience in nano-based herbal formulations and phytochemical analysis
  • Previous involvement in health-related research projects.
  • Having publication in a reputed journal
  • Good communication and scientific writing skills.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Master’s in microbiology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy will be preferred.
  • Strong laboratory skills in pharmaceutical formulations and microbiological testing.
  • Ability to conduct independent research and work collaboratively in a team.
  • Research experience of atleast 1 year in health-related research projects.
  • Having publication in a reputed journal
