The Professional Development Advisor is responsible for providing one-on-one counseling to students to enhance their career readiness. This includes resume/CV writing, interview preparation, and confidence-building techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one coaching on resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and job search strategies tailored to student career goals.
  • Conduct mock interviews with feedback aligned to employer expectations to enhance student interview performance.
  • Facilitate workshops and group sessions on professional development, networking, personal branding, and career planning.
  • Guide students on workplace etiquette, communication, and soft skills, while staying updated on industry trends and hiring practices.
  • Collaborate with faculty and departments on career readiness initiatives, track student progress, and prioritize candidates with HR or recruitment experience.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Master’s Degree from an HEC recognized University/Institute.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
  • 4 to 5 years of relevant professional experience. Preference will be given to those candidates having prior experience in HR.
