University of Central Punjab invites applications for the role of Head of Career Services Office. This is a high-impact Senior Manager Level Position for an individual who understands the power of industry connections, student transformation, and career strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the university’s graduate employability agenda and establishing long-term partnerships that translate into real-world opportunities for students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of the Career Services Office
  • Lead university-wide initiatives focused on internships, job placements, and employer engagement
  • Build and expand relationships with national and international employers, industry leaders, and HR professionals
  • Design and deliver student-centered workshops on resume building, job interviews, soft skills, workplace behavior and readiness, networking, LinkedIn presence, and professional communication
  • Coordinate with relevant faculty and facilitate on-campus hiring events, job fairs, employer panels, and alumni mentoring sessions
  • Collaborate closely with faculty, student affairs, and academic leadership to embed career readiness into the student journey
  • Supervise and mentor career cervices officer to ensure high quality service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Track, measure, and report graduate outcomes KPI and industry satisfaction to support institutional performance

Key Result & Performance Indicators

  • The number of new institutional partnerships formed with industry stakeholders each academic semester.
  • The proportion of graduating students securing internships or full-time employment upon program completion.
  • Student satisfaction levels as measured through structured feedback from career development workshops, counseling sessions, and co-curricular events.
  • The extent of employer engagement and recruitment outcomes resulting from university-facilitated on-campus career initiatives.

Qualification / Education / Experience

  • Master’s degree from an HEC recognized university (preferably in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Education, or a related field)
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in corporate relations, career services, or human resources
  • Preference for candidates with proven experience in employer engagement and professional development
  • Additional certifications in career coaching, counseling, or talent development will be an added advantage
